| LARISONS AND SHARPS ======================= Now this is the way that I remember the stories that my Grandmother "Mary "Sharp" Larison" told me . ========================================= After the Girls in the Sharps family began to marry they left the Ranch at Double Adobe in Southern Arizona. Mary Larison my Grandmother and Grandfather George Frank Larison and Her Older Sister Katie Camp and Her Husband Uncle Campie moved to Tombstone and were soon followed by Great Aunts Dulcie and Owens and their Husbands. The boys stayed at the Ranch with Great Grandmother and Grandfather Sharp. Now these were Tough Times and Great Aunt Dulcie and Great Uncle Joseph Larison, and Great Aunt Owens and Great Uncle Bob Vanwinkle moved on to Tucson then on to Phoenix to look for work. After Grandfather Frank Larison and Mary "Sharp" Larison had been in Tombstone for about two years they moved on to Phoenix where Frank Larison went to work for the Phoenix Police Department in the early 1930s. At about this time Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother Sharp had sold the ranch at Double Adobe for $1.00 an Ac. The Ranch had been about 186,000 Ac. But that was a Lot Of Money at that time, and moved to a small ranch just south of Phoenix. Great Uncle Ben Sharp that was a Bee Keeper and had Hundreds of Hives Of Bees moved in with His Mother and Father and took care of Them until they Died and then He Died shortly after Himself in the late 1930s. Great Aunt Katie Camp had lost Great Uncle Campie and lived in South Phoenix and was Taken care of by Roy W. Larison and the they both Passed away in The Late 1940s. Joseph and Dulcie that had moved on to California much Earlier and had 5 Children, Bennie M. Larison, Delbert H. Larison, Dorothy T. Larison, Joseph A. Larison Jr., Roy W. Larison and Thomas F. Larison. Dulcie Died in 1930, I do not know when Great Uncle Joseph Passed Way but I heard it was about 1956 ? George and Mary Larison had Two Children, Carmine Louise Larison, and Marion Frances Larison. Carmine had One Daughter, "Larison "Lari" Graham," and Frances had One Son "William Thomas Brooks 3rd." Grandfather George Frank Larison Passed away in 1941 and Grandmother Mary "Sharp" Larison Passed Away in about 1980. ===================================== WHEN TWO BROTHERS HAVE A MARRIAGE TO TWO SISTERS THEIR OFFSPRING ARE CALLED DOUBLE COUSINS BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE SAME BLOOD LINE AS BROTHERS AND SISTERS !!! I HOPE I GOT MOST OF THIS CORRECT , BUT THIS IS WHAT I REMEMBER GRANDMOTHER "MARY "SHARP" LARISON" TELLING ME AFTER OVER ALL THESE YEARS ! SONNY,SONNY BOY, BILL, BILLY & "CHILIBILL" |
