Celebrating John Wayne's 100th Birthday Friday, May 25th. 6 pm - Bull's Night Out - Rodeo Grounds Bullride to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. 7 pm - Ermal (John Wayne impersonator from Branson Mo.) and His sidekick Paula "America's Yodeling Sweetheart" - RVHS Auditorium. Saturday, May 26th, 2007 (John Wayne's 100th Birthday) 7-9 am Breakfast at the Rode Inn- And Visit John Wayne Suite - Local Historical stories told of John Wayne staying at the old "Ramada Inn" and Duke meeting many people there in the old days. 10 am- John Wayne Day Parade- a Totally Western Parade. Everyone will be on Horseback, with a Riderless John Wayne Horse, with a pair of Duke's Boots Backward on one of Duke's actual Saddle, and Duke's Rifle, Pistol and Gun Belt on the Saddle also! Jail on Main Street for people not wearing Western wear. 9 am - 4 pm - John Wayne Ranch Country Art Show at the K5 Gallery - Reed's Lodge 12 Noon- Youth Rodeo at the Rodeo Grounds and Cowboy Golf at the River Run Golf Course, Eagar. John Wayne Movies playing all day at the Historic Springerville El Rio Theater. 26 Bar Ranch Museum Tours all afternoon and Trail Rides and Wagon Rides offered all afternoon at the 26 Bar Ranch. 5 - 7 pm - Cowboy BBQ Cookout at the VFW Post 8987 at, 593 N. Main Street, Eagar 8 - 12 pm Street Dance on Main Street in Eagar with the Well Known Western Band "Mogollon." Sunday, May 27th 10 am - "Cowboy Church" with Ermal as John Wayne, with the Mt. Saddle Band at the 26 Bar Ranch. Hopi storyteller, and John Wayne memorabilia,Trail Rides and Wagon Rides all day. 10 am - 2 pm John Wayne Ranch Country Art Show at the K5 Gallery. 10- am till dark - Trail Ride for St. Jude's Children's Hospital at the 26 Bar Ranch.
